Tugboat Manouevers in Hospitality Waters

BC Hospitality Foundation names Tugboat as marketing AOR
 
The British Columbia Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) has chosen Tugboat to help steer through the awareness and development waters of BC.
 
In this AOR capacity, Tugboat will distill and develop the underpinnings and brand architecture for a revitalized BCHF, create a new and vibrant suite of communications materials, develop a new website and provide ongoing strategic counsel to the BCHF board on items ranging from fundraisers to outreach programs.
 
"This is a big deal for us and we are very proud to have the BCHF onboard in this capacity," says Tugboat Captain Steve Gallagher.  "It may be a pro-bono account but it provides a means of really delving into the heart of the hospitality industry, keeping us viscerally connected to a core area of our category expertise."
 
In its fourth year, "the Foundation has great plans, a committed board and now a dedicated resource to assist us in doing more to raise our profile and being able to deliver more services and assistance to more people in our industry," says Alan Sacks, BCHF General Manager.  "This will be the year of more and we can't wait."

The British Columbia Hospitality Foundation offers financial assistance, beyond traditional medical benefits, to people who work in food, beverage and hospitality professions at a critical time of need.  The Foundation is also very active in the provision of scholarships to those who wish to enter the industry and might otherwise be prohibited due to circumstance.
The fund acts as a safety net for members of BC's food, beverage and hospitality industry including brewers, food suppliers, hoteliers (foodservice departments), media (in the related trade), publicists (in the related trade ), retailers, vintners and wine sales representatives.
